The Denim Oracle

The Denim Oracle is a textile arts project, featuring symbols cross-stitched onto a vintage piece of denim. It is also a personal meditation on archetypes: How they show up in the stories I tell, and how I note them while making sense of my life.

Each post explores a symbol from art, literature, or divination practice like tarot cards. Each symbol is also a challenge for YOU to make art in response—written words, images, or whatever your medium is. Posts conclude with a prompt to encourage you to interact with the archetype in your own creative practice.
